From Monday 8 May restrictions were imposed along Leavygreave Road East for all vehicles except disabled blue badge holders. The restrictions apply 09.30 until 17.30 Monday to Friday inclusive and are enforced by Sheffield City Council. It is no longer possible to access Leavygreave Road East from Victoria Street or Gell Street. New road signage is in place.

The left hand turn from Glossop Road onto Upper Hanover Street is permanently closed and bollards will be installed. Vehicles can no turn left from Glossop Road onto Upper Hanover Street and instead will need to access Broad Lane via St.George's Terrace in order to reach the Brook Hill roundabout.

St.Georges Terrace, Regent Street and Regent Terrace have re-opened for vehicles - temporary give way signs and cones have been put in place here to help vehicle users and pedestrians adapt to the new layout. The contractor will install permanent signage once the work is completed.

You can no longer access Leavygreave Road East from Upper Hanover Street. This is  a permanent change.

As part of the Engineering Heartspace project the parking spaces will be removed. Spaces will be relocated to the Velocity car park, Solly Street, passes for the car park can be acquired at the EFM helpdesk from 1 June.
